Defected and Glitterbox announce Ibiza 2022 line-ups

The sister labels will see takeovers at both Hï and Eden this summer

Defected Records and sub-label and party series Glitterbox have announced their return to Ibiza with some whopping line-ups taking over both Hï and Eden this summer.

For Ibiza’s longest season to date, which kicks off this month and runs through until mid-October, Defected has announced a residency at Ibiza veteran spot Eden over the course of 23 weeks.

Every Friday, Eden will see a slew of house music specialists including Floorplan, John Summit, Eats Everything, Gorgon City, and Danny Howard.

Elsewhere on the long-running residency, Sef Kombo, Kitty Amor, Low Steppa, Roger Sanchez, Basement Jaxx and Sam Divine will also head up the event series, which kicks off on April 29.

“Absence makes the beat grow stronger. For over three decades Ibiza has been front and centre of dance music’s calendar and the enforced two-season hiatus has only served to make us all appreciate how integral the Island is to the dance music community,” said Defected boss, Simon Dunmore.

Meanwhile, Defected’s sub-label Glitterbox heads to Playa d’en Bossa’s Hï Ibiza for a similarly lengthy residency. From May 8 until October 2, Hï will welcome headliners Dan Shake, Honey Dijon, Carl Craig, Jayda G, Moodymann, and more through its doors.

The disco-focused sister label sets up each Sunday on the White Isle and is set to include both ‘legendary Glitterbox’ family, as well as ‘underground names and new talent’.

“The party is going to be at another level as the DJ’s, performers and staff are all eager to reconnect with our friends on the Hï dancefloor...we anticipate an explosion of pent-up positive energy,” excites Dunmore.

Tickets for Defected and Glitterbox’s Ibiza summer season start at £22 - find out more about Glitterbox's Hï line-up here, and Defected's Eden here.
