Dâm-Funk, Mac DeMarco, Neon Indian and more wish you a Merry Synthmas

It’s an hour-long synth special of holiday classics

Jimmy Whispers and Maraschino have teamed up to create ‘SYNTHMAS’, an hour-long special full of synth reworkings of holiday classics.

It features performances from Dâm-Funk, The Space Lady, Neon Indian, Mac DeMarco, Cola Boyy, Sofie, Drugdealer, Dent May and more.

Expect synth reimaginings of festive classics like ‘Frosty The Snowman’, ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘Rocking Around The Christmas Tree’, as well as originals like Dent May’s ‘I’ll Be Stoned Alone For Christmas’ or Drugdealer’s ‘Christmas Algorithm’.

Speaking in the introduction to the special video, Maraschino and Jimmy Whispers say, “Why Synthmas? Well, cos the holidays suck! But synths are cool, they rule. They’re very cool all the time.”

Those who tune in are encouraged to donate to Alexandria House, an LA-based charity that provides safe and supportive housing for women and children in the process of moving to permanent housing from emergency shelter, and Save Our Stages.
