Brian Eno joins Ibiza International Music Summit to talk climate change
Brian Eno will appear via a video call at IMS to reduce carbon footprint.
The Ibiza International Music Summit (IMS) has announced that Brian Eno will deliver its keynote interview with Pete Tong.
The iconic electronic musician’s interview will open IMS 2020 in May, where he will discuss how the music industry should tackle the climate crisis.
Eno is the founding trustee of EarthPercent, whose aim is to encourage artists and music companies to give a small sum of earnings, to organisations who are addressing the climate emergency.

The interview will take place via a video call as Eno is currently taking a break from flying to reduce his carbon emissions.
IMS are donating the cost of Eno’s flight to EarthPercent and all carbon emissions that have been created due to travel surrounding the event will also be offset.
The weekend of talks and debates will take place at International Music Summit, Ibiza from May 20-22.
