Bou releases remix of High Contrast’s ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’

It comes 15 years after the release of the original drum ‘n’ bass tune

Bou has released a remix of High Contrast’s tune ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’.

The remix - which dropped on Friday - comes after the original was released in 2007, with a fresh twist by the producer.

Bou’s remix is an energetic, exciting and fresh take on the tune and marks his first release of 2022.

“‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ is a personal favourite of my own tunes and one fans often request at shows so it felt like a good time to get a new remix of it done with live events returning,” High Contrast explains.

“After having such a great collaboration with Bou on our track ‘Don't Need You’, he seemed like the perfect choice to take on the remix. With his ear for dancefloor sonics and knack for heavy but cheeky basslines, he delivered exactly what I was hoping for - ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, the 2022 edition.”

Bou and High Contrast have had an evolving friendship over the previous year, having met for the first time at event Let It Roll.

On his own imprint, Have You Heard The Gossip, Bou has released tracks such as ‘Talk To Me’ and ‘Cous Cous’ whilst simultaneously using his ever-growing platform to help others.

His 2021 compilation ‘DNB 4 PEACE’ featured a variety of producers in the drum ‘n’ bass genre and raised over £30,000 for those affected by the ongoing conflicts in Palestine.
