Behringer teases that “over 50 new synths” on their way
The new synths includes an EMS VCS 3 remake
Behringer has claimed that it is working on “over 50 new synths” including a remake of the EMS VCS 3.
Recently the synth maker has announced that a reimagined version of the 1969 portable analogue synthesizer the VCS is in the final stages of pre-production awaiting the “final sign-off”.
According to Music Tech Behringer has replicated the original design of the “Putney” synthesizer to extensive detail.

Behringer claims that the “mechanical construction of the matrix plus the recreation of analogue circuitry was very complex and needed several iterations”.
It adds that it is “just warming up!”
Earlier this month, Behringer teased a Roland Jupiter-8 inspired analogue mini synth named Saturn.
There is currently no information on shipping nor price for the Behringer VCS 3 yet.
