Beatport launches ticketing platform for electronic music events
Promoters, labels, and venues in the UK and EU can now sell tickets on the platform
Beatport has launched a ticketing platform for electronic music events, Beatport Tickets.
Announced yesterday (October 16), the platform allows promoters, labels, and venues in the UK and EU to sell tickets to dance music events exclusively.
Beatport, which currently operates as a database for dance music and as an online music store where artists can sell tracks, implemented the ticketing feature as of Thursday.

“Beatport Tickets bridges digital and live music culture, turning event pages into immersive sound journeys,” they said in an announcement. “UK & EU promoters, you can now sell and market directly on Beatportal, reaching our engaged global audience of 40M+ users.”
The platform also acts as a “one-stop destination” to discover events in dance music, and features custom playlists, track links, and “integrated sales tools” on event pages.
While the platform is currently only available in the UK and EU, Beatport Tickets hopes to expand into the US and will later become available on the Beatport store and app.

Upcoming events will also be directly linked to Beatport artists and label pages in the near future, and will feature options for accommodation, tokens, and merchandise.
“Beatport has always been the home for DJs and fans to connect with the music that drives dance culture,” says Helen Sartory, Beatport’s Chief Revenue Officer.
“With Beatport Tickets, we’re taking the next big step – bridging digital and live, supporting promoters, and giving fans a richer way to experience dance music. Because without live music, there is no dance scene.”
