Beach festival Balaton Sound announces first line-up

Based in Hungary with headliners Martin Garrix, Becky Hill and Marshmello

Europe’s biggest beach festival Balaton Sound returns this year with its first wave of acts announced today.

Based in Lake Balaton, Hungary this year’s festivities will have headlining acts of Martin Garrix, Becky Hill and Marshmello.

The electronic beach festival has also revealed artists such as Dillon Francis, Nervo, Paul Kalkbrenner and more to be performing.

Taking place from June 29 to July 2 tickets are only available for the next 72 hours here with 4-day tickets at €190 and 3-day tickets at €165.

This year’s festival will feature four new and unique VIP experiences, set along the 50-mile-long lake, with VIP ticket upgrades on sale from February 24.

Each VIP area will include luxuries from massages and make-up lounge to fresh drinks on arrival, as well as exclusive parties and surprise shows.

Headliner Martin Garrix says: “I still get chills remembering the last time I played there back in 2018, the energy from the crowd was amazing. I cannot wait to be back at sunny Balaton Lake and do it all over again”.

Speaking about the announcement, Lost Frequencies who will be performing this year said: “I’m so excited to finally be back! Balaton Sound is one of the classics. It’s also one the first major festivals I got to cross off my bucket list and for that it will always have a special place in my heart. Can’t wait to feel the vibe again!”
