This Friday marks our final stand at Boxpark Shoreditch and we’re going out in style with Barely Legal at the helm.
Last time the UK DJ played The Lab she laid down all manner of rowdy bass-loaded rhythms, and we’re excited to see what she brings to the table this time out.
She’s been busy this month out on the road for the debut tour of her Pretty Weird label alongside playing a string of other gigs, including Four Tet’s Brixton Academy takeover with the Hessle Audio trio and Joy Orbison. Pretty Weird has also just put out Silkie’s old-skool heater ‘Don’t DJ For Free’ and there’s another stop on the tour lined up for Newcastle’s Cosmic Ballroom on December 13 with DJ Hype and Daddy Earl MC on the bill. Next year she’s locked in to play Lost & Found and Snowbombing, and there's more in the pipeline.
