Bala Club's Kamixlo readies his ‘Angélico’ EP
With ‘Bloddless Y’ introducing the new material
Bala Club founder Kamixlo has announced the ‘Angélico’ EP, consisting of six tracks exploring the experimental nature of his sound.
The forthcoming release serves as the follow-up to his debut ‘Demonico’ EP, which dismantled the limitations of club music with gritty atmospherics and hard-hitting rhythms. Kamixlo expands upon that notion on his forthcoming release, as it focuses on “the birth of something happy and sweet – the Bala Club movement.”
According to a press release, the ‘Angélico’ EP showcases a plethora of influences: “It’s a thanks giving, even if it is expressed through the dark world prism of the Bala aesthetic – influenced by everything from Japanese wrestling to metal to industrial to dancehall”.
With five original tracks and a remix by Evian Christ, it's become clear that Kamixlo's creativity knows no bounds.
