antiSOCIAL club chain opens new venue in Goa

The Indian dance music heavyweight's third venue has a capacity of 4,000 people and includes a swimming pool, restaurant and bar

Indian nightclub chain antiSOCIAL has opened its third venue, with the newest spot located at Goa's Morjim beach.

Following a soft launch last month, where antiSOCIAL hosted a pop-up event at the same venue with Richie Hawtin, Decoder and more on the bill, the new club opened its doors last weekend.

The opening weekend, which ran from December 1 to 3, welcomed the likes of Polocorp, Ankytrixx, Jeremy Olander, Len Faki and Giant Swan for three day parties that ran from 2:PM to 10:PM.

antiSOCIAL Goa, spanning over four-and-a-half acres, has both indoor and outdoor dancefloors with DJ booths, with the outdoor vicinity also including a swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

The space, which is a stone's throw away from the Goan shores, has been designed as a dynamic, multi-faceted venue that can moonlight as a café and co-working space when it is not throwing raves.

antiSOCIAL, which is owned by Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality, launched in 2015 with its now-shuttered New Delhi venue.

Since then, the Indian dance music heavyweight has set up sites in Mumbai, Pune and now Goa, with plans to add a fourth club to its existing group in the south, namely the city of Hyderabad.

In the coming weeks the new Goa-based club will welcome the likes of Alex Kassian, Anyasa, Luke Slater, Wata Igarashi plus rising local talents Priyanjana and Rafiki.
