Angel Lee and Raven Madella reveal pride-inspired music video for 'The Disco'

The visual production is the first for femme-focused label and collective Lady of the House

Angel Lee and Raven Mandella have just debuted the pride-themed visual for their infectious house track, 'The Disco'.

Leeds-based DJ and producer Angel Lee was selected by BBC Radio 1's Jaguar as one of the four winners of Lady of the House's demo competition last year, going on to release single 'The Disco' on the collectives in-house label in March,

The track, which features multi-disciplinary artist and dance music legend Raven Mandella, has since been featured in Spotify's UK House Music playlist, and has seen plays on BBC Introducing Dance.

The newly-released visual for the track, which debuted on June 30 to mark the end of Pride Month, was filmed at iconic Southampton arts space The Orange Room and documents the "journey to the disco" — taking inspiration from the hey-day of house music.

Described as a "celebration of the power music and dance," the video features Angel and Raven making their way to a ticker tape embossed club, before Angel makes her way behind the decks and Raven provides some of their signature dance moves for the eager crowd

"This is Lady of the House’s first music video production, and working with Angel and Raven was a dream," says Lady of the House founder Laila Mckenzie. "They are so creative and dedicated , we can't wait to see what the future has in store for them both"
