2D of Gorillaz shares playlist featuring Aphex Twin, 808 State
Along with playlists from Murdoc, Noodle and Russel
2D, the frontman for the animated band Gorillaz, has shared a new playlist which he says is “the perfect accompaniment for dinner or Zumba”.
Following the release of their recent album ‘Humanz’, Gorillaz have been steadily making waves in the industry, announcing festival dates and a tour, sorting their own Demon Dayz festival and announcing a 10-episode animated TV show.
Now as many fans finish soaking in ‘Humanz’, 2D offers a snapshot into his own musical taste with the new playlist dubbed ‘G-Mix: 2D’. The collection features an eclectic batch of tunes, including tracks by George Michael, Aphex Twin, 808 State, Le Tigre and more.
