A Gorillaz TV show is on the way
Co-founder Jamie Hewlett is working on a 10-episode series
Gorillaz are back. They returned to the live stage with a headline London show last month, and on April 28 their new album ‘Humanz’ will be released.
More good news is now coming out of the Gorillaz camp, with co-founder Jamie Hewlett announcing in an interview with Q Magazine that he is working on a 10-episode TV series about the virtual band, as well as “other things he never imagined when Gorillaz was born.”
He also revealed that Sade, Morissey and Dionne Warwick turned down the chance to feature as collaborators on the new album.
