LSDXOXO announces debut album ‘Dogma’

The first two singles from the forthcoming project, ‘4LUVN’ and ‘Bloodlust’ are out now

LSDXOXO is set to release his first full length album, entitled ‘Dogma’.

The project is set for release on September 13, via his own imprint Fantasy Audio Group (F.A.G.).

The Philadelphia-born Berlin-based star has announced the album alongside the album’s lead single ‘4LUVN’ and music video, following on from the release of the first single from the album, ‘Bloodlust’ last month.

The album is set to explore the “interlinked qualities of fame, infamy, lust and submission”, as he “rediscovers a pure, unadulterated approach to music-making, all the while adopting a futurist approach to pop music appreciation.”

While the former Mixmag cover star has released a number of popular remixes and collaborations to date with the likes of Lady Gaga, Shygirl, Pink Pantheress and Kelela, this project sees him return to songwriting in its purest form, mostly lacking in features as RJ explores the versatility of his own musicianship as a “chameleonic vocalist and performer”.

Accordong to a press release this change in expression as a “paradigmatic shift towards the singer-songwriter and live show process. It is a poetic and fantastical performance, a route for deep escapism through an expanded musical palette including piano and guitar, and a deeply personal confessional through a fresh approach to songcrafting.”
