EXIT Festival finalises line-ups for mts Dance Arena, NSNS and Urban Bug stages

The Serbia-based festival's 24th edition is set to take over the Petrovaradin Fotress from July 10-14

EXIT Festival has just announced a slew of new additions set for its electronic-focused mts Dance Arena, NSNS, and Urban Bug stages.

Set to return to the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia for its 24th outing, the four-day festival is scheduled to take place July 10 - 14.

On opening night, the globally celebrated Carl Cox will headline the mts Dance Arena, alongside Berlin's Klangkuenstler, Franky Wah, Mene and Sama’ Abdulhadi.

Saturday will see Maceo Plex deliver hypnotic sounds of deep house and intense techno, followed by I Hate Models, Patrick Mason, rising star Lanna, Desna and Katalina in a cross-genre set.

On the final night, Afro-house legend Black Coffee will play a set on the mts Dance Arena with a spectrum of international acts including Bonobo, Barry Can't Swim, multi-instrumentalist Carlita, Mose and Belgrade duo, INNĒR SENSE.

EXIT'S open-air stage NSNS, in partnership with Heineken Silver, will feature Sara Landry, progressive house producer Yotto, a "magnetic set" by OGUZ, followed by the genre-blending Estella Boersma.

Francis Mercier is set to deliver his eclectic set to audiences visiting the NSNS stage in 2024 and Helena Hauff is expected to bring their "raw, hypnotic atmosphere" to the decks.

Urban Bug, one of the festival's smaller stages will feature some exclusive b2b sets from the likes of 2 Much b2b Vein, Hudi b2b Aljoša, Layzie b2b Techa, Migazz b2b Kornwall, Milenko b2b Arnee.

The major European festival, which was first founded in 2000, plays host to a plethora of genres each year but reports that 2024's edition is to be the event's "best electronic music editions so far" according to founder and director, Dušan Kovačević. "Every year, we elevate both the line-up and production to a higher level," he says.

Welcoming more than 1000 artists across 40 stages, the huge festival was proclaimed "Best Major European Festival" and the EU Festival awards in both 2013 and 2017.

EXIT festival takes over five locations across four countries each year in a series of events, including Ada Divine Awakening and Sea Dance Festival in Montenegro, Sea Star Festival in Croatia, No Sleep Festival in Belgrade, Revolution Festival in Romania and Sunland in Bulgaria.

Other headline acts for 2024 include Gucci Mane, Rudimental and Black Eyed Peas, with Friday's surprise line-up still yet to come.
