'The Keyboard Wizards of Acid House' is Mixmag Records' first vinyl release
Adamski, Orbital and 808 State all feature
'The Keyboard Wizards of Acid House' is Mixmag Records' first-ever vinyl release.
The title of the album, curated by promoter Sean McLusky, relates to the pioneering artists who championed live performances in the acid house era. While many were DJing, there were a number of acts, from Orbital and Adamski to The Shamen and Meat Beat Manifesto, using instruments to play their music, hence the phrase 'keyboard wizards'.
This limited-edition vinyl celebrates the artists who played live at Brain Club at 11 Wardour Street, London in 1989. These include Adamski, Orbital, 808 State, Nexus 21 and Altern-8.
