Unreleased Seth Troxler and Omar-S collab lands on Tuskegee
More than a decade after being produced
An unreleased collaboration from Seth Troxler and Omar-S will finally get an official release on Tuskegee, more than a decade after being produced.
One look at that photo of Troxler and Omar above and it’s clear this music is a serious blast from the past. Omar did release Troxler’s debut release on FXHE nearly 12 years ago. Both Detroit legends in their own right, it’s incredible that a collaboration like this has gone unheard for such a long time.
Produced in 2006, the three tracks include ‘Deep (CDV 2006 Mix)’, which Troxler revealed was inspired by Ricardo Villalobos: "It basically was me returning to Detroit and telling Omar about this crazy music I heard Ricardo play during the day.”
Also found on the new release is 'Luiza's Inferno', a beatless solo track by Troxler, and another collab called ‘Detroit After Midnight’. Look for the ‘Lost And Found’ EP to be released October 20.
