Teki Latex delivers '100% Radio Hits'
Paris' hottest selector goes in
French DJ Teki Latex has recorded a two-hour mixtape he describes as “the sound of the radio station that plays 24/7 inside my brain”.
The mash-up champion takes the idea of re-contextualisation to a new level in a set that sees him jump from Ying Yang Twins to 80s synth pop through to Daft Punk and Wiley.
“It's a love letter to the bootleg days, the Hollertronix days, the Radio Soulwax days, the DJ Spinbad days,” he said.
“It's the feeling of listening to Radio Nostalgie in an Uber at night combined with the feeling of listening to Rinse FM on a Sunday in 2010.”
