Take a walkthrough tour of Tresor's original location
A techno UNESCO World Heritage Site
The website technohistory.org has posted a three-minute video walkthrough that tours the first location of the famous Berlin club Tresor.
Located at Leipziger Straße 126, which is now situated right next to the Mall of Berlin, the video shows a graffiti-littered basement venue that was once heralded as the city’s most treasured techno locale. Tresor, which called the location home starting in 1991, was forced to close down in 2005 before reopening in May of 2007 in a renovated power plant on Köpenicker Straße in Mitte.
