Special Request and Zomby sign to XL Recordings for EP series
The releases will appear later this month and in October
Special Request and Zomby (pictured) have both signed to XL Recordings, with the label set to drop a combined total of five new EPs from the artists.
The Special Request EPs see Paul Woolford return to his hardcore project following a functional Hotflush release under his given name at the start of this summer.
The three releases look primed to arrive on September 18, after a teaser website appeared at modernwarfare.org.uk containing catalogue numbers and due date clues.
Zomby's first outings on XL are titled 'Let's Jam EP1' and 'EP2' and are scheduled to land on October 9, with the enigmatic producer turning in four tracks on each.
Both artists will play London's Village Underground on November 6 for the XL Recordings night in new party series Clock Strikes 13.
