Sondrio unveils melodic, hazy house on 'Versey'
Stream the latest from the Australian producer, out on Ciao
Australian producer Sondrio has released his first track on Crookers' Ciao imprint.
Having launched his own label Romantics and released three 'Night Music' EPs already this year, the Sydney-sider explores new territory on his latest, 'Versey.'
"'Versey' started life as a hip hop beat written at the end of sessions for Night Music III," Sondrio says of the release.
"I free played some Rhodes in and then reversed it which set the tone for the track. The next morning I decided to take the main sounds from the beat and essentially remix it into a club record. Phra’s guidance for Ciao was to break out of the house paradigm and do something different. I took that attitude into this record."
