Pioneer has unveiled a new Rekordbox-compatible digital deck.

The XDJ-700, priced at £519 for one or £986 for a pair, is the "most compact, portable and flexible digital player yet", according to the company, and isn't too dissimilar from the XD-1000.

Key features include a large LCD touch screen (accompanied by quicker browsing to make searching for tracks easier), a slip mode which means tracks can play silently during live edits and full compatibility with Rekordbox so sets can be prepared beforehand.

At just 238 millimetres wide and 308mm deep, Pioneer hails its ability to fit in "the smallest booth or home set-up."
