Sankeys Ibiza will awaken on May 1st
Sankeys are pushing things forward for 2016
Instead of throwing its opening party at the end of May like normal, in 2016 Sankeys Ibiza will open its doors on May 1.
There are no artists announced yet, but the party is pencilled in to start at 6:30pm with a free barbecue on the rooftop. The event will run for 12 hours until sunrise the next day.
On moving the Sankeys Ibiza opening forward, David Vincent said:
"For many years there has always been talk about extending the Ibiza clubbing season. After five years of being here, nothing has changed it was just "blah blah blah" so I thought to myself, fuck it, I'll do it. I like a challenge and I want to progressively push the island I love forward whilst creating a legacy like I did in Manchester! May the 1st be with you."
If you buy your tickets for the opening party on May 1 2016 before December 31, you'll get them at the special early bird price of €15.
