Ray Okpara brings the heat with every release.
The Mannheim-based artist is responsible for amazing releases on Ama Recordings, Oslo and Saved but it's safe to say he's found his happy place on Anja Schneider's always-impressive Mobilee Records.
He's dropped a wealth of records on the imprint, including 'Good Times', his widely-praised debut album that came out back in 2012. Now Okpara returns to Mobilee with the 'Rao Del Rani' EP and it's time to get funky.
The track is a bass-heavy cannon, one that features tribal percussion on top of thumping kick drums. The jagged low-end murmurs are enough to set any dancefloor alight and the drops...well they're heavy. Check it out below.
