Rolling grooves on Raw District's 'Her Mind' EP on Crosstown Rebels
Vernon Bara and Massimo DaCosta are Raw District. Last year the Belgium-based duo released the 'Ragged Star' EP on Crosstown Rebels, showcasing their skill for glistening and glossy house cuts.
They're back on Damian Lazarus' label in mid-July, releasing the 'Her Mind' EP with Aquarius Heaven on vocals, and German producer Martin Buttrich remixing the title track.
It's been a while since Buttrich's last solo outing, the 'Earth Of Foxes' EP on Supplement Facts in 2013, but his input on this release makes up for the relatively quiet production period.
Expect the click-clack of wooden blocks, delicate percussive rattles and stabbing, prodding synths. All with Aquarius' echoed vocals sailing on top.
The 'Her Mind' EP is out on July 6 on vinyl and July 15 digitally
