Prequel Tapes releases two videos and a live studio recording
He delivers rowdy dark techno using new media tools
Following the November release of his debut record ‘Inner Systems’, Prequel Tapes resurfaces with a wealth of material.
The first video for ‘Dragon Keys’ uses visuals by Chilean video/computer artist Flavio Bagioli and was uploaded with Generate App and the alternative content hosting framework SAGA helmed by producer/technologist Mathew Dryhurst. ‘Scarlet Fog’ is a collaborative venture with Matilda that expands on the original VHS footage notably used for the ‘Inner Systems’ album art.
Along with those materials, Prequel Tapes has issued out a live studio recording to his SoundCloud, which can be heard here. The videos for ‘Dragon Keys’ and ‘Scarlet Fog’ can be viewed below.
