Bouncy and standout NYC-based duo Walker & Royce are slated to release their debut album ‘Self Help’ via Dirtybird Records on October 20.

Starting in 2012 with their breakthrough EP ‘You’re Not Welcome’ on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint, the radiant duo have gone on to release music on a slew of respected labels such as Safer at Night, Moda Black and Green Velvet’s Relief Records.

A wicked performance from Walker & Royce at Dirtybird Campout in 2015 made it clear that the duo and Claude VonStroke’s musical banner (and winner of Mixmag's own Label Of The Decade poll) Dirtybird is a match made in heaven. The partnership has proved extremely beneficial for everyone involved and has paved the way towards their noteworthy forthcoming ‘Self Help’ full-length.

Following singles 'Rub Anotha Dub' and 'Take Me To Your Leader', Mixmag receives ‘Best Track Ever’, an intergalactic party starter complete with a roller coaster of synth lines, fun vocal quips and magnanimously robotic attitude. Pre-order the album here.
