Premiere: Radio Slave’s ‘Bell Clap Dance’ gets an update from Tuff City Kids
Reimagining the track ten years later
Frankfurt’s Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer take to their collaborative project Tuff City Kids to update a pair of decade old Radio Slave tracks, bringing the material into the future with a beefed-up sound.
Since the launch of the TCK project, the duo have developed a reputation for supplying quality remixes and originals with their music gracing labels like Permanent Vacation, Delsin, Live at Robert Johnson and Cold Tonic among others.
On this remix EP, TCK delivers their version of ‘Bell Clap Dance’ by highlighting the various elements of the original, adding more energy to the mix while keeping the overall moody hook intact.
Two remixes of ‘Screaming Hands’ are also included in the release, which is set to drop May 5 on REKIDS. Purchase here
