Premiere: OMAAR's ‘Strong’ is a disorientating club cut

Super Kitchen is a fresh new club label based across Bristol and London that specialises in hard-hitting, stripped-back beats.

Two releases from Mistareez and Maribo have arrived so far. The imprints next release is a VA compilation titled ‘Rhythm Foundation Vol. 1’, featuring music from the likes of Ctrl Traxx, Macchina, Scimii and OMAAR. It’s a high-octance listen, packed full of robust percussive hits, staccato rhythms and off-kilter outer textures.

NAAFI member OMAAR’s contribution ‘Strong’ is a disorientating, drum-led workout that chops between muted and blistering elements, keeping listeners on their toes and dancers moving their feet. Listen below.

‘Rhythm Foundation Vol.1’ is out November 17 on Super Kitchen, pre-order it here
