Premiere: Fur Coat unleash a sly remix of Sailor & I's 'Black Stars'
A cold and calculating techno banger
Following the release of his debut album ‘The Invention of Loneliness’, Stockholm-based musician Alexander Sjödin (aka Sailor & I) has recruited an A-list team of electronic producers to remix his LP.
Mixmag receives Fur Coat’s remix of ‘Black Stars’, a focused and cunning techno track that with an aerodynamic low-end, icy vocal chops and a foreboding basement vibe that is bound to make any room feel a little bit darker.
Sailor & I taps artists such as Ellum Audio boss Maceo Plex and the proficient Paul Woolford to provide the savvy and resplendent synth-pop release with a heavy injection of dance floor mayhem.
Sailor & I’s ‘The Invention Of Loneliness’ (Deluxe Edition) drops on BMG on October 20.
