The 50th release on their own Cabinet Records
Distinguished Berlin duo Cab Drivers line up the 50th release on their esteemed Cabinet Records with a special release featuring both classic and contemporary material, including the deep and captivating house cut 'Backside 50'.
The story behind 'Backside 50' is simple: For their 50th 12" Cab Drivers planned to release a classic track titled 'Zwo Fremde', a dreamy and cosmic anthem from 1994 that was produced before they launched the Cabinet imprint. What they needed was a "backside" to complete the record and the result is a brilliant display of their distinct dancefloor-focused style that's been influential in the underground for decades.
