Premiere: Billy Kenny joins forces with Low Steppa for the rhythmic 'Clap Clap'

Leeds native Billy Kenny has carved out a specific, foot-tapping sound not only on his own co-run This Ain't Bristol imprint, but also on renowned labels Dirtybird and Sweat It Out.

Today, he arrives with a teaser from his own self-explanatory 'Billy Kenny & Friends' EP with the premiere of his collaboration with Low Steppa, fellow bass house and UK producer.

'Clap Clap' is a punchy dance floor bomb that seems to harness the best from both producers. The EP, which emphasizes a family aesthetic curated by Kenny and upheld by collaborators Walker & Royce, Gotsome and more, is diverse across the six tracks while remaining hooked in an unshakable, powerful house beat.

"This is the most fun and diverse EP that I've had the pleasure of working on so far," Billy said of the EP, which releases on This Ain't Bristol on April 14 on Beatport. "It's my friends and I working on music together for the first time and the outcome was much more than I could have asked for."

Hear the first listen of 'Clap Clap' below.
