Pioneer reveals new CDJs and mixer
The Tour1 series is said to have festival sets in mind
Music product show NAMM has been full of tech goodies so far and Pioneer's added to the gifts by revealing the Tour1 series.
The prototypes on show include new CDJs, accompanied by monitors displaying Rekordbox details, and a new mixer, the DJM-Tour1.
Though the CDJ-Tour1 is said said to be similar to its predecessor, the CDJ-2000NXS2, both products are described as being more robust than the 2000NXS range.
DJ Tech Tools captured some images at NAMM, showing that the Pro Link cable on the CDJ is much stronger than ethernet connections on older products, with an enhanced bumper to reduce shock impact.
Additions to the mixer are extra headphone cue buttons and a bigger send/return section.
Complete or not (Pioneer has apparently said they're not fully developed yet), they look very fresh indeed. Check the images above.
