New label Deep Sea Frequency sets sail for launch
It kicks off with a release from Or:la in May
Deep Sea Frequency is an imprint founded by Or:la and Jessica Beaumont, who are also behind Liverpool events brand, Meine Nacht.
The label is a platform for "Multi dimensional dancefloor and non-dancefloor frequencies" which will launch in May.
The first release comes from Or:la, which will be the second release to come from the Liverpool DJ since her debut on Scuba’s Hotflush Records back in November.
Or:la said: “We plan to put out crunchy analogue tainted dance floor and non-dance floor tracks, inspired by breaks and experimental sounds. The label will be all vinyl and the next release lined up after will be from DJ Seinfeld”.
The label is teaming up with Lobster Distribution, with each record being engraved with unique special Braille designs, and to celebrate its launch, Deep Sea Frequency will also be hosting a party with a special guest DJ from NYC and a Meine Nacht favourite.
