New Australian festival Tell No Tales has announced its debut line-up, featuring Ricardo Villalobos (pictured), Pan-Pot and Matthew Dear's alter-ego Audion.

Stereosonic founder Richie McNeill's Hardware group is behind the event, set to hit Melbourne and Sydney on the first weekend of December with Stereo out of the picture.

Agents Of Time and Nastia have also been announced for the techno-focused newcomer, described by organisers as "inspired by the European summer and its institutional event program".

McNeill broke the news he was working on two new festivals back in May, telling Mixmag:

"I am launching a new festival in December (and) have a camping festival launching next year. Heaps of tours. Heaps of new events. You'll just have to wait and see. Can't let too much out of the bag."
