Matthias Tanzmann
The German delivers a devious club cut on Saved Records
Matthias Tanzmann has spent most of his career sticking to releases on his own Moon Harbour Recordings, but come the end of the month he's making the switch to Saved Records.
2014's 'Reframed' 12" resulted in a collection of sharp-edged grooves, 'Get Up' a prime example of his like for bumpy rollers, and the German DJ and producer is spraying out similarly wavy beats on the floors of Space Ibiza, Robert Johnson and more this summer.
In the middle of that, his two-track 'No Sleep' EP is coming on Nic Fanciulli's Saved, with yet more deadly dancefloor ammunition at bay. Fuzzy synths twist and turn in the title track, paired with shattering percussion and, on a similar topic to the vocal, there won't be any shut-eye listening to this one.
The 'No Sleep' EP is released via Saved Records on July 31
