Matador in The Lab: Home Sessions

The Lab USA is BULLDOG Gin and Mixmag's weekly live stream and post-work unwind, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our offices in LA and NYC. On Tuesday May 5, we're switching things up with a very special The Lab: Home Sessions from Matador.

Matador might have made a name for himself through trippy, melodic techno, but he's got a lot more than that in his locker.

Earlier this year, the Irish producer released 'Tuesday', a mega five-and-a-half hour collection of soothing ambient tracks. It's 'Tuesday' that he'll be performing live for his set in The Lab: Home Sessions, giving you all the zen you need right now.

Other output this year includes 'Bush', a psychedelic concoction of haunting vocal loops, wriggling synths and pounding kicks. Check that here. More new music arrives on June 12 in the form of 'Model 10' on his label RUKUS.

This isn't the first time we've had Matador onboard for a stream. We also had him play a set with a backdrop of the Hollywood hills.
