Kindness unveils two new Kelela edits
Listen to 'Kate 4 Me' and 'Wheel The High' now
Kindness has uploaded edits of Kelela's tracks 'Cut 4 Me' and 'The High' to SoundCloud.
The former is stretched out and dreamy, featuring a Kate Bush sample among reverb soaked production and soft piano chords, while the latter is harder-hitting, characterised by an unrelenting grime-styled bass pulse at its core.
The upload follows Kelela releasing an official 'Hallucinogen' remixes EP last month. A note on SoundCloud suggests Kindness was originally recruited for the project, with the producer introducing the tracks as "some sample heavy edits that missed the remix deadline."
