Kaytranada says his album is out in May
Hear 'Bus Ride' from '99.9%'
May 5 is the release date for Kaytranada's forthcoming debut album on XL Recordings.
We've known it's been in the works for over a year but the Montreal producer revealed the release date to Benji B on Radio 1 early this morning (March 17).
The record's title is '99.9%', with our former cover star saying it relates to him being "indecisive". Canadian group BadBadNotGood have two tracks on it and another collaboration arrives in the form of Syd tha Kyd from The Internet. We should also expect "much more", according to the Haitian-born artist.
Detroit jazz musician Karriem Riggins helped out on the sleepy 'Bus Ride' and it's exactly the kind of woozy tune you'd want to listen to on a sunny day riding through the city. Listen below before Benji B's album preview on April 27.
