To celebrate their 50th anniversary, K-Swiss has teamed up with AAPE, the offshoot of Japanese cult brand A Bathing Ape to offer an updated version of one of the brands classic silhouettes.

Sticking to their roots, the American heritage sports brand has re-produced the1966 leather tennis shoe, The Classic 66’, which was one of the first tennis shoes to debut during the majors, using the original specifications and designs as the original model, adding AAPE's signature camouflage print to offer a modern take on the original all white style.

Extra details include AAPE by A Bathing Ape branding on one of the K-Swiss stripes, as well as AAPE logo stamping on heel counter and a cobranded sock liner in camo print.

The updated tennis silhouette might not be Wimbledon worthy, but it perfectly blends the two brands aesthetics – offering a contemporary take on a classic K-Swiss silhouette.

The K-Swiss x AAPE collection, is available on 15th December, via End Clothing.
