Yam Who's Midnight Riot label continues its output of 80s-inspired jams with this release from Judge Funk.

All five tracks are great, but it's 'Chief Rocker' that the likes of Soul Clap will lap up. A cut-up female vox chirps "This is the 80s one" before a quirky boogie-bassline and a bright, cheeky synth hook appears.

It turns into a full-on vocal anthem with chopped-up hooks and classic drum machine percussion, and then the main chorus slaps you in the face and you know you've got an absolute anthem on your hands.
