Jessy Lanza says 'Oh No' on second album
It's out on Hyperdub in May
Canadian artist Jessy Lanza has announced the release of her second album, 'Oh No'.
Working with Jeremy Greenspan of Junior Boys, the Hyperdub associate has put together a collection of 10 tracks falling in both the woozy and lively categories, with the press release describing the LP as "direct, self-assured and joyful".
It's the follow-up to 2013's 'Pull My Hair Back' on Kode9's label and comes after collaborations with Caribou ('Second Chance') and DJ Spinn and Taso ('You Never Show Your Love').
News of this one comes after the announcement of another album on Hyperdub, Fatima Al Qadiri's 'Brute' which is due in March.
