J Dilla's album 'The Diary' is getting a vinyl release
Madlib, Pete Rock and Snoop Dogg all feature
A 14-year-old J Dilla vocal album is coming out on vinyl via Mass Appeal Records.
Snoop Dogg, Bilal and Kokane are among the vocal collaborators on 'The Diary', with Madlib, Pete Rock and Detroit-born Karriem Riggins pitching in with production.
The Vinyl Factory writes that the "initial release of 'The Diary' stalled, the original tapes abandoned in Detroit as Dilla broke with the major label system to move to LA."
It'll be released on April 15 and never heard before 'The Introduction' is streaming below.
