Gorillaz announce their first show in North America in seven years
The group heads to a festival in Canada this summer
After unveiling their anticipated return with the announcement of their Demon Dayz festival in the UK and a live performance at Printworks in London, the Gorillaz have finally shared their plan to return to the stage in North America for the first time in seven years.
The Festival d'été de Québec (Quebec City Summer Festival) will be the lucky event that hosts the Gorillaz this year on Saturday, July 15 after their lengthy hiatus. Further shows and tour dates have yet to be confirmed, but hopefully for North American fans, more dates and locations will be added soon.
It's been a steady lead up to the Gorillaz's new album with new song releases and a vinyl reissue of their celebrated 'Demon Days' album.
