GAIKA announces Warp Records deal with the frightening '3D'
The 'Security' man is back with more aggression
London-based artist GAIKA is the latest recruit to Warp Records.
After hooking up with New York label Mixpak for the 'Security' mixtape, a haunting combination of trap, grime, r'n'b and dancehall, he's announced his signature to Warp with new single '3D'.
Out today (August 3), it's a vicious dancehall weapon that has GAIKA spouting lyrics against the "oppressive forces at work in the world" in a hoarse voice.
Last week, he unveiled a short film to go with 'Security' and on August 11 he heads to London's Roundhouse for an immersive performance of the mixtape.
'3D' follows Warp's 2016 releases by Aphex Twin, Autechre, Danny Brown and Darkstar and can be listened to below.
