Facebook is going to allow artists to charge for access to live streams

The functionality will be available "in the coming weeks"

Facebook is going to allow artists to charge for access to live streams

Facebook has announced plans to allow Pages to charge for access to live streams, in order to “support creators and small businesses”

Facebook Events will be able to be marked as online only with Facebook Live integrated to broadcast to guests. The Live With feature is also coming back, allowing users to add another account into a stream.

Details of how payment will work are still to be announced, with the social platform saying the changes will be rolled out “in the coming weeks”.
