Essential SQL's new album, 'Sequel'

Pim Van Horssen has explored several moods and styles for over a decade and now he returns with 'Sequel', the latest album under his SQL alias.

In perhaps what is his most heartfelt and emotion-laced body of work to date, 'Sequel' deals with subject matter that's close to Van Horssen, including rebuilding after mental breakdown and suicide.

While on the surface that seems quite dark and overwhelming, the intricate and ethereal album journeys through the breadth of his production psyche, unveiling moments of beauty and serenity.

It's a bold composition and you can listen to snippets of every track below and trust us you won't regret it.

'Sequel' by SQL is out now via Gem Records
