Electric Forest calls upon fans to unveil headliners Bassnectar, What So Not, Bonobo

Rothbury, Michigan's Electric Forest took the road less travelled to announce the line-up for its 2016 festival, set to take place this summer from June 23 to 26.

Digging back into their archive, Electric Forest organizers surprised fans and previous attendees of the festival with a piece of mail that had one or more confirmed headliners for the 2016 event. Each recipient was encouraged to share their piece of the puzzle with a social media tag, #EF2016Reveal. In the end, the line-up was meant to be pieced together organically and completely by fans, who quickly began to catch on and congregate at online forums like Reddit to construct a full line-up.

So far, the team effort has already revealed Bassnectar, What So Not, Dusky, Porter Robinson, Major Lazer, Flosstradamus, Duke Dumont and Bonobo as headliners across the three-day show.
