DJ Shadow launches a pop-up to sell records from his personal collection
Los Angeles will receive a peek into his vintage finds
For the lucky and vinyl hungry in Los Angeles, keep an eye out for DJ Shadow's upcoming pop-up shop where he plans to sell off some of his own personal collection as well as collectors items.
DJ Shadow's pop-up will be held at Rappcats' headquarters in Highland Park on September 10 and 11 from noon to 6 PM at 5636 York Boulevard. The 'Annual DJ Shadow Storage Sale' will include vintage merchandise like posters, tapes and duplicates of records from his personal collection as well as a limited-edition make of 'The Sideshow' from his 'The Mountain Will Fall' album.
"These are all records I have other copies of, and I’ve decided that I don’t need to keep multiples," DJ Shadow explained. "Think of it as a year-long thrift store hunt consolidated into two days."
