Depeche Mode announce new album with James Ford and Matrixxman
'Spirit' is due this coming spring alongside a worldwide tour
Synth masters Depeche Mode have announced their next album, 'Spirit', with a repertoire of impressive producers.
'Spirit' will be Depeche Mode's 14th studio album. This time around, the band has enlisted James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco as the lead producer, with the dark and intense Matrixxman giving his hand on a number of tracks.
The upcoming work will follow 2013's 'Delta Machine', produced by 140dB's Ben Hillier.
Depeche Mode plans to embark on a tremendous 32-show tour around the world, running parallel to the album's release. The Global Spirit series will stop at 21 stadium venues and kicks off this coming May.
'Spirit' is set to release in spring 2017 on Columbia Records.
